Local Ethernet access tails are based on different speed options - 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps. The virtual circuit is then configured with a Committed Data Rate (CDR) that could vary from 1Mbps to 1000Mbps depending on the access tail used and the bandwidth required.
